What it's made for: traditional saunas with a stove and stones.
Two other bucket sets close to it on our rating, each with a dated price.
Water for the stones of a stove sauna, per the listing. In an infrared cabin nothing wet goes near the heaters, so there it is decoration.
What it has going for it
Red cedar. Cedar copes well with heat and moisture and smells lovely as it warms. It also matches most sauna interiors.
15-min sand timer. A quiet way to time a session without taking your phone into the heat.
Stove with stones: 4 L of water for the stones, per the listing. That is what a bucket set is for.
Infrared: nothing wet goes near infrared heaters. In an infrared cabin, a bucket is decoration, and that's fine too.

Our take
We like the Northwood Sauna Accessories Core Set for red cedar build and a 15-minute sand timer. No buyer reviews yet, so this Northwood Sauna bucket set has to win you over on paper. The catch with the Northwood Sauna Accessories Core Set: no word on the size. We'd pick it if you want a bucket set for traditional saunas with a stove and stones; otherwise, put it next to the Peakur 11-Piece Red Cedar Accessory Set first.
Before you add the Northwood Sauna Accessories Core Set to your cart: check your sauna type, because it holds 4 L, which is water for a stove with stones; infrared heaters must stay dry.
If your sauna has a stove with stones, you are set. If it is infrared only, this is decoration, and that is fine too.
It is red cedar, per the listing. Let it dry between sessions so the wood doesn't crack or grey.
