What it has going for it

What changes in a small apartment

Heated foot pad. Cold feet are the classic complaint with fabric saunas, so a heated pad under your feet is the small detail that matters.

Chair included. The seat comes with it, per the listing, so you can set up and sit down the same evening.

Steamer. Steam inside the tent means warmer, wetter air than infrared panels alone. It also means wiping the inside dry and emptying the steamer after each session.

Great for you if…

  • Your feet are always the first thing to get cold
  • You like a humid, steamy heat

Skip it if…

  • You want to sit in a wooden room: this is a fabric tent
  • You don't want to dry the inside after every session
  • You'd rather wait for buyer reviews: none are captured for this listing yet

What MIXC promises

The seller states, word for word, in the MIXC Low EMF Sauna Box listing:

  • Equipped with 3 carbon crystal heating panels and 1 LED warm light, this sauna delivers quick, even heat distribution for consistent comfort.
  • Easily adjust temperature via the control panel to match your comfort needs.

Their words and their figures, not our measurements. We leave out health promises, even when a listing makes them, and any low-EMF figure stays the seller's.

Frame, heat and what's in the box

What the MIXC Low EMF Sauna Box listing names:

  • Steamer
  • 3 heating panels
  • Heated foot pad
  • Folding chair
  • Timer up to 60 minutes
  • Low-EMF wording (the seller's claim)

Read the manual for the outlet and the surface it wants; it has the last word.

No steamer to dry out? The SereneLife Portable Sauna Box (8.6/10) is infrared only, per its listing.

Want to change the heat from inside? The Durasage Ultra Low EMF Sauna Box (7.5/10) comes with a remote, per its listing.

Two of you? The Amocane 2-Person Portable Sauna (5.6/10) is sold for two people.

Our take

The verdict

Our favourite thing about the MIXC Low EMF Sauna Box is a heated foot pad, closely followed by the seat included. No buyer reviews yet, so this MIXC portable sauna has to win you over on paper. The catch with the MIXC: no word on the open size or the top temperature. We'd pick it if your feet are always the first thing to get cold; otherwise, put it next to the Manastin Portable Steam Sauna first.

Living with it

Setting up

Open the frame, zip the cover on, unfold the chair and lay the heated foot pad down, then plug it into the wall.

A session

Set the heat before you zip in, and the timer runs up to 60 minutes. Keep a towel and a glass of water within reach.

Afterwards

Empty the steamer and wipe the inside dry. Let it air out before you fold it away, so it smells fresh next time.

Before you buy

The floor space

Leave room to zip in and out, and keep it on a flat, dry floor away from curtains.

The outlet

Plug it into a wall outlet you trust, never an extension cord. Our 110 V vs 240 V guide explains what to read on the label.

Who it fits

Fabric tents are sized for sitting; check the height and the head opening against the tallest person who will use it.

Where it lives

With a steamer, the inside needs drying after each session before you fold it. Decide where it goes folded, and read our wood vs fabric guide if you are still torn between fabric and wood.

Frequently asked questions

Is the MIXC Low EMF Sauna Box any good?

We rate it 5.4/10 (fair). The rating comes from its documented listing alone, as no customer-review record is captured yet.

How many people does the MIXC Low EMF Sauna Box fit, and what is it made of?

The listing states far infrared panels, and it uses low-EMF wording (the seller's claim, which we have not measured). Capacity means people sitting side by side, not lying down. These are the seller's figures, not our measurements, so check the assembled dimensions and the door swing on the listing too.

What outlet does the MIXC Low EMF Sauna Box need?

We found no voltage in the listing. Read the electrical requirement on the listing and in the manual before you order: some cabins plug into a standard household outlet, others want a dedicated circuit. Anything beyond an existing standard outlet is a job for a licensed electrician. Our sauna size planner checks the floor space.

What do you get with the MIXC Low EMF Sauna Box?

Its listing states a heated foot pad, a folding chair in the box, a steam generator, a 60-minute timer and low-EMF wording, per the seller. These are the seller's figures, not our measurements: how warm it really gets on a cold evening and how sturdy the frame feels can't be read from a listing.

What should I check before ordering the MIXC Low EMF Sauna Box?

The floor space: leave room to zip in and out, and keep it on a flat, dry floor away from curtains. The outlet: plug it into a wall outlet you trust, never an extension cord. Our 110 V vs 240 V guide explains what to read on the label. Who it fits: fabric tents are sized for sitting; check the height and the head opening against the tallest person who will use it. Where it lives: with a steamer, the inside needs drying after each session before you fold it. Decide where it goes folded, and read our wood vs fabric guide if you are still torn between fabric and wood.

Where can I buy the MIXC Low EMF Sauna Box?

Have you used the MIXC Low EMF Sauna Box yourselves?
